I know how you feel because I felt like this too.

After having a baby I felt lost, overwhelmed and isolated. I've now had three babies and felt like this every single time.

It's exhausting. After my third baby I only had enough energy to just about get through the day, and I certainly didn't have time to do anything for myself.

I just about had time to make and eat my own breakfast!

I felt lost.

I didn't know who I was anymore.

Where was the Claire I knew? She was somewhere but I was struggling to find her.

So much of parenting is putting other people's needs before your own. 

I put myself at the bottom of the list.

And often I wouldn't get to the bottom of the list after making sure everyone else was cared for.

There just wasn't the time to look after me.

I'd collapse in bed and repeat it again the next day, and the day after that, and the day after that. It felt never ending.

I decided things had to change when I saw a saying on a poster 'NOTHING CHANGES IF NOTHING CHANGES' and I realised my life would just continue like this unless I did something about it, SO I DID!

I wanted to feel strong. 

I wanted to feel like me.

I wanted time for myself.

I wanted to accomplish something for myself each day. Even if it was only going in the garden for a couple of minutes and feeling the sun on my face.

I found that once I started doing small things for myself I felt different.

I felt happier.

I felt more content.

I felt in control.

And I started to feel strong.

Strong in my body AND strong in my mind.

So I kept going.

I added new small actions I could add to my day.

And things really started to improve and change for me.

And people noticed.

“You’re looking good Claire!” other mums would say to me.

I knew I'd found something. And I thought if it can work for me, it can work for other mums too.

And it has.

I now feel like ME again, not the old me but an improved version of me. I have begun training as a coach, I've been on multiple podcasts, and I'm creating a better life for me and my three boys.

Inside this module we'll look at how we can use our mindset to bring out the best in ourselves. Where the mind goes, everything else follows.

My time

Finding time for yourself as a parent, especially when your child is little, is really hard.

But it can be found.

In this module we'll look at where you can find pockets of time for yourself, so you're not constantly on the go looking after everyone else.

And also how to use those pockets of time to bring you joy. Not to bring you down.

My energy

One of the most common things I hear from mums is that they feel exhausted and by the end of the day have just about enough energy to stagger to bed in the evening, before doing it all again the next day.

Being a mum can be exhausting. But this can improve, and I don't mean by waiting until your child leaves home!

I'll show you the simple changes you can make to help you feel more energised every day.
